The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed defenceman Emil Andrae and forward Danton Heinen on waivers Wednesday.
Winnipeg Jets forward Brad Lambert, who was waived on Tuesday, has cleared.
Andrae has two assists in five games this season with Columbus while averaging 10:33 of ice time. He last suited up on Oct. 20 against Toronto, where he had one assist in the 6-2 loss.
The 24-year-old has been well traveled since the end of last season. He was dealt to Toronto from Philadelphia on June 16 along with goaltender Samuel Ersson and a third-round pick in exchange for defenceman Simon Benoit and goalie Joseph Woll.
Signing a two-year, $3.1 million contract with the Maple Leafs on July 4, Andrae played all of training camp in Toronto before he was dealt on Sept. 28 to Columbus along with Matthew Knies, Steven Lorentz and a conditional second-round selection in the deal that brought Kirill Marchenko, Miles Wood and Elvis Merlzlikins to Toronto.
Andrae has skated in 112 career NHL games, scoring three goals with 22 points, split between Philadelphia and Columbus.
Heinen, 31, has yet to record a point in 10 games this season with the Blue Jackets. He played in last night’s 7-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks but saw just 5:05 of ice time.
He is on a one-year, $1 million contract.
He split the 2025-26 season between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Columbus, scoring a combined six goals with 12 points in 46 games.
A veteran of 622 career NHL games, Heinen has scored 102 goals with 253 points, split between the Boston Bruins, Anaheim Ducks, Penguins, Vancouver Canucks, and Blue Jackets.
