Blues sign goaltender Romanov to one-year, two-way deal

The St. Louis Blues made an addition to their crease on Wednesday with the signing of Georgi Romanov.

The 25-year-old goaltender joins on a one-year, two-way deal.

Romanov is set to report to the team’s American Hockey League affiliate, Springfield Thunderbirds.

A native of Yekaterinburg, Russia, Romanov previously spent two seasons with the San Jose Sharks organization. He appeared in 10 NHL games over the past two seasons, posting a record of 0-6-0 with an .888 save percentage and a 3.53 goals against average.

The Blues open their 2025-2026 season on Thursday against the Minnesota Wild.
