The Boston Bruins have signed forward Marat Khusnutdinov to a three-year, $11.85 million extension, the team announced on Wednesday.
Khusnutdinov, 24, was set to become a restricted free agent at season’s end. He will still be an RFA at the conclusion of the new deal in the summer of 2030.
A native of Moscow, Khusnutdinov is in his fourth NHL season and third with the Bruins. Through 10 games in 2026-2027, Khusnutdinov has two goals and three assists.
Originally selected with the 37th overall pick of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, Khusnutdinov was dealt to the Bruins by the Minnesota Wild at the 2025 trade deadline as part of a trade that sent Justin Brazeau the other way.
In 178 career games, Khusnutdinov has 23 goals and 31 assists.
Internationally, Khusnutdinov has represented Russia at a number of youth levels and was a member of the squad at the 2021 IIHF World Juniors in Edmonton.
