New Jersey Devils forward Juho Lammikko has been placed on waivers Thursday for the purposes of contract termination.
Lammikko, 30, had two assists in 24 games with the Devils this season, his first with the organization.
He signed a one-year, $800,000 contract with the team on June 14.

Originally a third-round pick (65th overall) by Florida in 2014, Lammikko played the previous three seasons in Switzerland with Zurich.
He has skated in 183 career NHL games, scoring 11 goals with 28 points, split between the Panthers, Vancouver Canucks and Devils.
