The Anaheim Ducks have signed unrestricted free agent defenceman Nick Jensen to a two-year contract and UFA forward Jeff Malott to a three-year deal.

Jensen, 35, had four goals and 17 points in 61 games with the Ottawa Senators last season while averaging 17:01 of ice time. He did not appear in the Senators’ four-game loss to the Carolina Hurricanes in the first round of the playoffs.

The 6-foot right-shot defenceman is coming off a three-year, $12.15 million contract that carried a cap hit of $4.05 million.

Drafted 150th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in 2009, Jensen has 26 goals and 172 points in 694 career games split between the Red Wings, Washington Capitals, and Senators.

The Rogers, Minn., native represented the United States at the 2018 World Hockey Championship, taking home a bronze medal.

Malott, 29, scored three goals with nine points in 58 games last season with the Los Angeles Kings.

The Burlington, Ont., native has skated in 71 career NHL games, scoring three goals with 10 points split between the Winnipeg Jets and Kings.
