Flyers’ Foerster out 2-3 months with an upper-body injury

The Philadelphia Flyers announced on Tuesday that forward Tyson Foerster will miss two to three months with an upper-body injury.

Foerster, 23, has 10 goals and 13 points in 21 games this season. He had a career-high 25 goals and 43 points in 81 games in 2024-25.

A first-round pick (23rd overall) by Philadelphia in 2020, he made his NHL debut on March 9, 2023 against the Carolina Hurricanes.

He is in the first season of a two-year, $7.5 million contract with an AAV of $3.75 million.

The Alliston, Ont., native has appeared in 187 career NHL games, scoring 58 goals with 96 points.
