The Vegas Golden Knights have signed forward Braeden Bowman to a six-year, $20.4 million contract extension on Thursday.
The deal carries an AAV of $3.4 million.
Bowman, 23, scored eight goals with 26 points in 54 games last season, his first in the NHL. He skated in one playoff game as Vegas reached the Stanley Cup Final.
He also appeared in 20 games with the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights, where he scored 12 goals with 26 points.
An undrafted free agent, Bowman signed a two-year, entry-level contract with Vegas on March 2, 2025.
Prior to joining the Golden Knights organization, Bowman played four seasons with the Ontario Hockey League’s Guelph Storm, captaining the team during the 2023-24 campaign. He was one of the team more productive offensive players, recording 37 goals and 71 points during the 2023-24 campaign, his final season of major junior.
