The Montreal Canadiens are getting some reinforcements for the remainder of their postseason run.
Owen Beck, Adam Engstrom, David Reinbacher and Florian Xhekaj have all been recalled from the American Hockey League’s Laval Rocket and will serve as the Habs’ Black Aces in the playoffs.

The Rocket were eliminated by the Toronto Marlies in the North Division semifinals in the AHL playoffs over the weekend.
Beck, a 22-year-old forward, scored one goal over 15 games with the Canadiens this season, adding 13 goals and 20 assists in the AHL.
The 21-year-old Xhekaj plays left wing and had 17 goals with 12 assists over 64 games in Laval. He played five games with the Habs this season, his rookie campaign in the NHL.
Reinbacher, 21, and Engstrom, 22, are both defencemen, appearing in two and 15 games respectively with the Canadiens in 2025-26.
Both excelled in the AHL with Reinbacher scoring five goals and 19 assists over 57 games while Engstrom had 10 goals and 24 assists over 45 games.
Montreal defeated the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday night in Game 3 to take a 2-1 advantage in their second-round series.
Game 4 goes Tuesday in Montreal.
