Valimaki has been assigned to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
The 27-year-old has a goal and three points in three games with the AHL’s Tuscon Roadrunners this season.
Originally drafted by the Calgary Flames with the 16th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Valimaki has appeared in 271 NHL games with Calgary and the Utah franchise.
Valimaki’s last NHL game came on Jan. 26, 2025, and the native of Tampere, Finland has 11 goals and 72 points in his NHL career.
