Pittsburgh Penguins

Karlsson was on the ice for Pittsburgh’s gameday session and said via team reporter Michelle Crechiolo that he had a rough couple days.
The three-time Norris Trophy winner played 16 shifts in 15:49 of ice time in the Penguins’ 7-3 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday.

Toronto Maple Leafs
The Maple Leafs will be banged up for their tilt against the New Jersey Devils at home Tuesday night.
Star forward Auston Matthews is a game-time decision and William Nylander is out and considered day-to-day.
Matthews is dealing with a lower-body injury related to when he blocked a shot against the Detroit Red Wings over the weekend.
Defenceman Chris Tanev is also out with a lower-body injury, which is not related to the injury that forced him to miss 23 games throughout November and much of December.
Forward Dakota Joshua stayed back in Detroit and will not suit up Tuesday with what head coach Craig Berube described as a kidney injury.
