Defenceman Brock Faber's return to play protocol has been cleared, according to The Athletic's Michael Russo.
Russo reports there is no timetable yet for his return, but he can resume skating in a few days.
The 24-year-old had a procedure late last month to repair a skull fracture sustained in the preseason.
Meanwhile, defenceman Jared Spurgeon is week-to-week with an undisclosed injury after leaving Tuesday's game against the Utah Mammoth early, according to Russo. He has one goal and five points in 10 games this season.

Detroit Red Wings

Forward Dylan Larkin will not play Thursday against the Chicago Blackhawks, head coach Todd McLellan told reporters.
Interim general manager Shawn Horcoff will address the situation later with reporters.
TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun reports trade talks involving Larkin have escalated, which may not necessarily lead to a trade imminently, as things can still go in a few different directions at the moment.
Larkin requested a trade over the summer and was stripped of the Red Wings' captaincy, but had been playing prior to Thursday's announcement. He has two goals and six points in 10 games this season, scoring in Detroit's most recent game Monday against the Edmonton Oilers.
Larkin was absent from the team's practice a day earlier.
