Pittsburgh Penguins
Forwards Justin Brazeau and Ben Kindle are considered week-to-week with lower-body injuries while forward Blake Lizotte is day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Additionally, defenceman Ryan Graves is out indefinitely with a lower-body injury,
Forwards Bryan Rust and Tristan also missed practice on Sunday with injuries. Rust is being evaluated for an upper-body injury while Broz is being evaluated for a lower-body injury.
Additionally, the Penguins assigned forward Bill Zonnon, defenceman Harrison Brunicke, and goalie Joel Blomqvist to the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Sunday.

New York Rangers
Garand, 24, spent the majority of the 2025-26 season with the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack. In 36 appearances, he went 16-15-2 with an .896 save percentage and 2.83 GAA.
He also made his NHL debut with the Rangers last season, going 2-0-1 in his three appearances with a .948 save percentage and 1.62 GAA.
Raddysh, 28, scored nine goals with 19 points in 68 games last season with the Rangers.

Team thinks Garand still has some developing to do and needs to be getting No. 1 goalie reps as a 24yr old. They're accepting the risk of losing him for nothing.
Minnesota Wild
Faber departed Friday’s preseason game after he was hit in the left ear area by a shot from Dallas Stars forward Sam Steel in the second period. He went down to the ice quickly, before skating off to the bench under his own power. Faber played the rest of the period but did not return to the ice for the final frame.
The 24-year-old also missed Saturday's practice as the team prepares for their first game of the season on Oct. 1 against the Nashville Predators.

Washington Capitals
Petersen spent the 2025-26 with the AHL's Iowa Wild, going 13-16-2 with an .896 save percentage and 2.73 goals-against average. He last appeared in the NHL during the 2023-24 season, when he skated in five games with the Philadelphia Flyers.
Washington has also placed forwards Jonny Brodzinski and Spencer Smallman as well as defenceman Louie Belpedio and goaltender Clay Stevenson on waivers for purpose of loan to Hershey.

New York Islanders
The Islanders assigned top prospects Kashawn Aitcheson, Cole Eiserman, and Isaiah George to the AHL's Hamilton Hammers on Sunday.
Additionally, the team placed goaltender Vitek Vanecek on waivers on Sunday for the purpose of assigning him to Hamilton.
The Islanders also signed defenceman Logan Stanley to a one-year contract on Sunday.
Stanley played last season with the Winnipeg Jets and Buffalo Sabres, recording nine goals and 26 points in 76 games while averaging 16:42 of ice time.

Tomkins, 32, had a 20-13-7 record with the Condors last season with a 2.98 goals-against average and .904 save percentage.
Additionally, the Oilers assigned forward Damien Carfagna to the Condors on Sunday.
