Toronto Maple Leafs

Head coach Jim Hiller confirmed that goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky will start tomorrow’s home pre-season game against the Montreal Canadiens.

Defenceman Morgan Rielly was with the main group at Leafs training camp today after skating in a red sweater yesterday in a different group as he works his way back from dealing with a “viral condition.”

With Rielly back, defenceman Ben Danford has been bumped to the second group.

Rielly scored 11 goals with 36 points in 78 games last season while averaging 21:08 of ice time.

Anaheim Ducks

The Ducks announced on Friday that forward Ryan Poehling will miss practice today as he is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Poehling, 27, scored 11 goals with a career-high 36 points in 75 games last season, his first with the Ducks. He also scored four goals with one assist in 11 playoff games.

Defenceman Ian Moore is out two-to-four weeks with a lower-body injury.

Moore had 12 points in 67 games with the Ducks last season.

Montreal Canadiens

Group B for the Canadiens is the first to hit the ice today.

Per TSN’s Kenzie Lalonde, Kirby Dach is centering Alexandre Texier and Zachary Bolduc while Phillip Danault is on a line with Josh Anderson and Florian Xhekaj. Jake Evans is skating with Alex Newhook and Brett Berard.

On defence, Mike Matheson and Noah Dobson are skating together again while rookies Adam Engstrom and David Reinbacher are a pair.

The Athletic’s Arpon Basu reports that the Canadiens’ first power play unit of Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Ivan Demidov, Juraj Slafkovsky and Lane Hutson remains intact from last season.

Free agent signing Chris Kreider was spotted taking a rep on the penalty kill with second-year forward Oliver Kapanen.

Edmonton Oilers

Forward Jason Dickinson looked like he suffered an injury in practice this morning as he departed the ice.

He later returned to test it out before eventually participating in a few drills. He did not take part in the team scrimmage.

Dickinson, who was acquired last season on March 4 from the Chicago Blackhawks, signed a five-year, $20 million extension with Edmonton on June 21.

Ottawa Senators

The Senators are holding a scrimmage this morning between the groups at training camp.

The top two lines have Tim Stutzle centering Drake Batherson and Andre Burakovsky, while Dylan Cozens has William Eklund and Fabian Zetterlund on his flanks, per TSN’s Claire Hanna.

Winnipeg Jets

The Jets rolled out two groups of lines at Friday’s training camp session. Here is how they broke down courtesy of TSN’s Danielle Bain:
