Both defenceman Jake Sanderson and forward Warren Foegele were full participants in Friday's skate and are expected to be in the lineup when the Senators open their 2026-27 season in Toronto against the Maple Leafs Saturday night, according to Postmedia's Bruce Garrioch.
Sanderson left last weekend's preseason finale for precautionary reasons, while Foegele revealed to reporters Friday that he had off-season surgery to treat a lingering injury from last season.
Sanderson had 14 goals and 54 points in 67 games last year, while Foegele had six goals and eight points in 21 games for the Sens after being acquired from the Los Angeles Kings on March 5.
