Toronto Maple Leafs
Defenceman Morgan Rielly won’t be available to the Maple Leafs against the Calgary Flames on Monday and will be out until after the Olympic break with an injury, according to head coach Craig Berube.
Rielly, 31, left Saturday’s 3-2 shootout victory over the Vancouver Canucks with an upper-body injury after just 12:34 of ice time.
The 6-foot-1, left-shot defenceman has seven goals and 31 points in 54 games with the Maple Leafs this season while averaging 21:34 of ice time.
Additionally, Joseph Woll was in the starter’s crease during their morning skate and projects to be the starter against the Flames on Monday, according to Joshua Kloke of The Athletic.
Woll, 27, allowed two goals on 30 shots in the team’s victory over the Canucks, snapping a personal five-game skid.
The 6-foot-3 netminder has a 12-7-4 record this season with a .909 save percentage and 2.96 goals-against average.
Toronto used these lines during their morning skate, according to Kloke.

The Oilers signed defenceman Atro Leppänen to a one-year, two-way, contract extension on Monday.
Leppänen, 27, joined the Oilers organization in the off-season on a one-year $975,000 contract after playing for Vaasan Sport of Liiga, Finland’s top professional league.
The 6-foot, left-shot defenceman recorded 21 goals and 63 points in 60 games in Liiga last year.
He appeared in 28 games with the AHL’s Bakerfield Condors this season, recording three goals and 20 points.
Montreal Canadiens
Jakub Dobes will get the start in net on Monday when the Canadiens takes on the Minnesota Wild.
Dobes, 24, allowed two goals on 38 shots Montreal’s 4-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday and has won eight of his last nine starts.
The 6-foot-4 netminder has an 18-5-3 record this season with an .894 save percentage and 2.92 goals-against average.
Ottawa Senators
Defenceman Thomas Chabot is a game-time decision to play against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday after he missed practice, according to head coach Travis Green.
Chabot, 29, exited Saturday’s 4-1 win over the New Jersey Devils with an undisclosed injury after skating 15:59 of ice time.
The 6-foot-1, left-shot defenceman has five goals and 22 points in 39 games this season while averaging 21:49 of ice time.
Additionally, Green confirmed that Ullmark will make his second straight start on Monday against the Penguins.
Ullmark, 32, allowed a goal on 27 shots against the Devils on Saturday in his first game back after missing 16 games for personal reasons.
The 6-foot-4 netminder has a 15-8-5 record with an .884 save percentage and 2.89 goals-against average this season.
Boston Bruins
The Bruins recalled defenceman Jordan Harris from his AHL conditioning stint with the Providence Bruins and placed forward Elias Lindholm on injured reserve on Monday.
Harris, 25, has only appeared in five games this season after sustaining an ankle injury that required surgery at the end of October.
The 6-foot left-shot defenceman has a goal and two points in five games while averaging 15:38 of ice time.
Harris joined the Bruins on a one-year, $825,000 contract in the off-season.
Lindholm, 31, missed the team’s last two games with an upper-body injury.
The 6-foot-1 centre has 11 goals and 37 points in 44 games this season and was selected to represent Sweden at The Winter Olympics.
Florida Panthers
Forwards Brad Marchand and Anton Lundell remain out of the lineup as the Panthers take on the Buffalo Sabres on Monday but there is a chance they play later in the week, per head coach Paul Maurice.
Marchand, 37, exited the team’s 5-4 loss to the St. Louis Blues early on Thursday with an undisclosed injury and missed Saturday’s 2-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets.
The 5-foot-9 winger has 25 goals and 50 points in 45 games this season and was named to Canada’s team for The Winter Olympics later this month.
Lundell, 24, left Tuesday’s 4-3 loss to the Utah Mammoth in the second period with a lower-body injury and missed the team’s last two games.
The 6-foot-1 centre has 15 goals and 36 points in 52 games this season and was named to Finland’s team at The Winter Olympics.
Sergei Bobrovsky will get the start in net when the Panthers take on the Sabres on Monday, confirmed head coach Paul Maurice.
Bobrovsky, 37, has a 20-16-1 record this season with an .875 save percentage and 3.05 goals-against average.
Minnesota Wild
The Wild recalled goaltender Cal Petersen from the AHL’s Iowa Wild under emergency conditions on Monday.
Petersen, 31, joined the Wild organization in the off-season as a free agent and has a 4-13-0 record in the AHL with an .897 save percentage and 2.82 goals-against average.
New Jersey Devils
Forward Jack Hughes skated on his own on Monday as he continues to recover from a lower-body injury, according to team reporter Amanda Stein.
Hughes exited Saturday’s 4-1 loss to the Ottawa Senators in the first period with the injury.
The 5-foot-11 centre has 12 goals and 36 points in 36 games with the Devils and was named to the United States squad for The Winter Olympics later this month.
Philadelphia Flyers
The Flyers recalled goaltender Aleksei Kolosov from the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Monday.
Kolosov, 24, appeared in four games with the Flyers this season going 0-2-0 with a 4.00 goals-against average and an .830 save percentage.

Pittsburgh Penguins
The Penguins used these lines ahead of their matchup against the Ottawa Senators on Monday, according to team reporter Michelle Crechilolo.
Tampa Bay Lightning
The Lightning assigned Maxim Groshev to the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch on Monday.
Groshev, 24, appeared in two games this season recording an assist.
The 6-foot-2 defenceman was drafted 85th overall by the Lightning in the 2020 draft and has a goal and 13 points in 35 games in the AHL this season.
Washington Capitals
Goaltender Logan Thompson participated in the Capitals’ morning skate on Monday but, will remain out against the New York Islanders on Monday, according to Sammi Silber of The Hockey News.
Thompson, 28, missed the team’s last two games while dealing with an upper-body injury.
The 6-foot-4 netminder has an 18-16-4 record this season with a .912 save percentage and 2.46 goals against average.
Thompson was named to Team Canada for The Winter Olympics in Italy later this month.
Additionally, defenceman Matt Roy is a game-time decision to play against the Islanders on Monday, according to Silber.
Roy, 30, missed the last two games with a lower-body injury and has a goal and 14 points in 53 games this season while averaging 20:46 of ice time.
Thompson will be placed on injured reserve to make room for Roy, but he can be activated as soon as he’s ready to play.
