Leafs ink Koblar to three-year ELC

Coming off of a fine showing at the IIHF World Championship, Tinus Luc Koblar now has an NHL contract.

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced the signing of the 18-year-old forward to a three-year, entry-level contract on Monday.

A native of Kranj, Slovenia, Koblar was taken with the 64th overall selection of the 2025 NHL Draft.

Koblar spent last season with Leksands IF of the Swedish Hockey League. He appeared in 47 games and scored eight goals and six assists.

Koblar represents Norway, where he was raised, internationally. At last month’s worlds, Koblar appeared in 10 games, scoring three goals and adding six assists en route to a bronze medal finish. He also appeared at the 2026 World Junior Championships, scoring five goals and notching five assists in five games.
