Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Morgan Rielly exited Saturday’s 3-2 shootout win over the Vancouver Canucks with an upper-body injury.

The 31-year-old blueliner was ruled out for the remainder of the contest prior to the start of the third period.

Rielly logged 12:34 of ice time before departing, tallying one blocked shot while recording a minus-two rating.

The Vancouver native has made 53 appearances for Toronto this season, his 13th in the National Hockey League, posting seven goals and 24 assists for 31 points.

The Maple Leafs snapped a six game losing streak with the victory over Vancouver, but remain in last place in the Atlantic Division with just two games left before the Olympic break.
