The Edmonton Oilers have eight goals from eight different goal scorers - and the game is only half over as they lead the Vancouver Canucks 8-2 in the second period.

Connor McDavid is leading the way with a goal and three assists, and Evan Bouchard has his league-leading 4th goal of the year along with two assists of his own.

McDavid and Kasperi Kapanen both scored shorthanded goals while killing the same minor penalty midway through the second period.

Kevin Lankinen allowed all eight goals for the Canucks before being lifted in favour of Leevi Merilainen.
