USA Hockey announced the rest of Mike Sullivan’s staff for the upcoming Winter Olympics.

Joining the New York Rangers head coach behind the bench at Milano Cortina will be David Quinn, John Hynes and John Tortorella.

“We’re extremely fortunate to have a tremendous staff,” Team USA general manager and Minnesota Wild GM Bill Guerin said in a statement. “Everyone is extremely proud to represent our country and focused on our collective effort to bring home a gold medal to the United States.”

Sullivan, 57, was named Team USA head coach in the spring of 2024. Sullivan was set to lead the Americans at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing had there been NHL participation. He is heading into his first season with the Blueshirts after a decade with the Pittsburgh Penguins that saw him win Stanley Cups in 2016 and 2017. He previously suited up for the United States as a player at the 1988 World Junior Hockey Championships and the 1997 IIHF World Championship.

Quinn, 59, joined the Rangers as an assistant under Sullivan earlier this summer. He had previously worked with Sullivan in Pittsburgh. A native of Cranston, RI, Quinn is a former head coach of the Rangers and the San Jose Sharks, posting a 137-185-50 mark over five season. Quinn was the coach of the American entry in Beijing, finishing atop Group A before falling to Slovakia in the quarters. Quinn also represented the U.S. as a player at the 1986 WJHC.

Hynes, 50, is set to enter his third season as head coach of the Wild after previously serving as bench boss of the New Jersey Devils and Nashville Predators. The native of Warwick, RI has extensive experience with USA Hockey. Hynes has coached at a variety of levels, including as head coach at the 2008 World Junior Hockey Championships and the 2024 IIHF World Championship.

A Stanley Cup winner as head coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2004, the 67-year-old Tortorella was fired by the Philadelphia Flyers this past spring, late into his third season on the job. The Boston native has also served as head coach of the Rangers, Vancouver Canucks and Columbus Blue Jackets. Internationally, Tortorella was an assistant coach for Team USA at the 2008 worlds and the head coach of the American entry at the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.

Team USA will compete in Group C in Italy, opening up their tournament on Feb. 11 against Latvia. They will also play Germany and Denmark in the round robin.
