Colorado Avalanche

Nathan MacKinnon will make his return tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs according to reports.

MacKinnon hasn't played since the game against the Philadelphia Flyers in early December when he left after blocking a shot as well as taking a hit from forward Scott Laughton.

The 27-year-old - who has been activated off injured reserve earlier today - has appeared in 23 games this season recording eight goals and 25 assists.

Edmonton Oilers

Forward Leon Draisaitl is day to day and could return to the lineup soon according to TSN's Ryan Rishaug.

Draisaitl missed Friday's game against the Seattle Kraken with what Head coach Jay Woodcroft called bumps and bruises.

The 27-year-old has 21 goals and 36 assists in 36 games this season.

Detroit Red Wings

Detroit Red Wings head coach Derek Lalonde said forwards Tyler Bertuzzi and Filip Zadina have the same time frame to return, according to Ansar Khan of MLive.

Bertuzzi was injured during the Red Wings loss to the Buffalo Sabres, when he was hit in the left hand by a shot from teammate Ben Chiarot.

The 27-year-old has played just nine games this season after missing a month after breaking the same hand in the second game of the season. He has one goal and three assists this season.

Zadina was ruled out 6-8 weeks with a lower-body injury caused by a hit to his right leg during a game against the New York Islander in early November.

The 23-year old has nine games but has yet to register a point in the 2022-23 season.
