Canadian centre-back Ralph Priso exited Tuesday’s friendly in the 26th minute against Tunisia after suffering an apparent injury while tracking back on a defensive play.

Priso made a clean sliding tackle to break up an attack by Tunisia’s Sayfallah Ltaief, but remained down on the field in pain following the play.

The training staff attended to the 23-year-old, before he eventually left the pitch.

Kamal Miller replaced Priso in the Canadian defence.

Priso got his first start for Canada against Tunisia after he came on as a substitute in the 86th minute against Iceland on Saturday, making his debut with the senior team.

The Toronto native has made five appearances this season for the Vancouver Whitecaps, all starts.
