Bradley, 38, was named head coach of MLS Next Pro side New York Red Bulls II in July. It was the Princeton, NJ native’s first head coaching position after previously serving as an assistant coach under his father, Bob Bradley, at Norwegian side Stabaek and briefly spending time on Jesse Marsch’s Canada staff.
Capped 153 times by the United States, Bradley ended his playing career in 2023 after a decade with the Reds. In his time with TFC, Bradley won four Canadian Championships, and the Supporters’ Shield and MLS Cup in 2017 as part of an historic treble. Individually, he was named an MLS All-Star on three occasions. He made 308 appearances across all competitions for TFC.
Bradley also spent 10 seasons in Europe, suiting up for Heerenveen, Borussia Monchengladbach, Aston Villa, Chievo and Roma.
Bradley succeeds Sandro Schwarz, who was fired after two seasons last month.
