CALGARY — The Calgary Wild’s winless streak in the Northern Super League grew to eight games after surrendering a late goal in a 1-0 Saturday setback to the visiting Halifax Tides.
The last-place Wild, who have six losses and two draws to start the NSL campaign, gave up a goal to Saorla Miller in the 82nd minute at McMahon Stadium. The hosts were outshot 11-9 (6-3 on target) by the third-place Tides, who earned their fourth win to go along with three losses and two draws.
The Tides took 11 corner kicks compared to five by the Wild.
