Jewell Loyd remains in Sin City.
ESPN’s Andraya Carter reports the six-time All-Star guard is re-signing with the Las Vegas Aces on a three-year deal.
Loyd, 32, was traded to the Aces in February of 2025 after a decade with the Seattle Storm. She appeared in 44 games last season, averaging 11.2 points on .389 shooting, 3.2 boards and 1.8 assists over 28.3 minutes a night. For the first time since her rookie season in 2015, Loyd was asked to come off of the bench, starting only 25 games.
A native of Lincolnwood, IL, Loyd appeared in all 12 of the Aces’ playoff games en route to a championship, but did not start any of them. She averaged 9.4 points and 3.8 rebounds over 29.3 minutes a night. The Aces swept the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA Finals with Loyd winning her third championship.
Internationally, the Notre Dame product has represented the United States on numerous occasions, winning Olympic gold medals at Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2020 and FIBA World Cup golds in 2018 and 2022.
