ESPN’s Sean Hurd reports the six-time All-Star forward is re-signing with the Phoenix Mercury.

Thomas, 33, joined the Mercury in a four-team trade last offseason, leaving the Connecticut Sun after 12 seasons. She appeared in 39 games last season, averaging 15.4 points on .532 shooting, 8.8 boards and 9.2 assists over 31.3 minutes a night. The Maryland product was named to the All-NBA First Team, as well as the All-Defensive First, and finished third in Most Valuable Player voting.

The Sun reached the 2025 WNBA Finals, ultimately falling to the Las Vegas Aces in a four-game sweep.

A native of Harrisburg, PA, Thomas heads into her 13th WNBA season.

Internationally, Thomas has represented the United States on a number of occasions, winning an Olympic gold medal at Paris 2024 and a gold medal at the 2022 FIBA World Cup.
