The Toronto Tempo has signed guard Dara Mabrey.

The team says the deal is a training camp contract.

Mabrey is the younger sister of Tempo guard Marina Mabrey.

A 26-year-old native of Belmar, NJ, Mabrey is a product of Notre Dame like her sister. She spent three years with the Fighting Irish after transferring from Virginia Tech with whom she spent her freshman and sophomore seasons. Over 135 games across six collegiate seasons, Mabrey averaged 10.9 points on .401 shooting with 2.7 assists and 2.4 boards in 30.9 minutes per night.

After spending the 2025-2026 campaign with Greek side PAOK, Mabrey is currently signed to the Norwood Flames of the Australian National Basketball League. In four games with the Adelaide-based team, Mabrey is averaging 20.8 points, 3.3 assists and 3.0 boards.

The Tempo opens their inaugural training camp on Sunday. The team opens its preseason schedule on Apr. 29 against the Connecticut Sun before opening the regular season on May 8 at the Washington Mystics.
