The Tempo are coming off a 98-90 victory over the Phoenix Mercury on Tuesday night.

Both Brittney Sykes (31 points) and Marina Mabrey (30 points) dominated offensively against the Mercury as Sykes also pulled down seven rebounds and six assists while Mabrey made six three-pointers.

Also hitting double figures on Tuesday were rookie Kiki Rice, who had 15 points and seven rebounds, and forward Laura Juskaite, who scored 10 points.

Isabelle Harrison (hand), Temi Fagbenle (shoulder) and Julie Allemand (hip) all remain out for tonight’s contest while Nyara Sabally (neck) is considered doubtful after also missing Tuesday’s game.

The Lynx are coming off of an 86-79 loss to the Chicago Sky on Sunday as Minnesota is 2-2 to start the season.

Napheesa Collier has yet to suit up for the Lynx this season as she continues to recover after undergoing left ankle surgery on March 24. Per the Lynx at the end of April, Collier is expected to return to on-court activities in early June.

With Collier out of the lineup, Kayla McBride leads the team in scoring with 16.3 points per game while Courtney Williams and Natasha Howard aren’t far behind at 15.8 PPG each.

Rookie point guard Olivia Miles, the second-overall pick in April’s WNBA Draft, has impressed early this season.

She leads all rookies in assists per game at 5.8 and is second in PPG at 15.5. Miles has started all four games for the Lynx while averaging 31.5 minutes.
