The Toronto Tempo announced on Wednesday that guard Marina Mabrey will miss the remainder of the season with a right adductor injury.
Mabrey is expected to make a full recovery and will not require surgery.
Toronto has four games remaining on their regular-season schedule, wrapping up against the Connecticut Sun on Sept. 24.
The 30-year-old averaged a career-high 20.8 points with 3.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 32 games this season.
She tied the WNBA’s single-game scoring record with 53 points against the Los Angeles Sparks on June 25, tying A’ja Wilson and Liz Cambage.
Mabrey was taken by the Tempo in the expansion draft from the Connecticut Sun and inked a two-year, $2.4 million max deal with Toronto on Apr. 10.
The Belmar, N.J., native has appeared in 262 career WNBA games, split between the Sparks, Dallas Wings, Chicago Sky, Sun and Tempo.
