Toronto Tempo guard Marina Mabrey has been named to the 2026 WNBA All-Star roster, the league announced on Tuesday.
“It feels really good to be named a WNBA All-Star,” Mabrey said in a release. “After years of hard work and perseverance, it’s incredibly validating to be recognized among the best players in the league. I’m grateful to my teammates, coaches and everyone who has supported me throughout my career.”
Mabrey has appeared in 19 games during the Tempo’s inaugural season and is averaging 21.1 points, 3.7 assists and 3.6 rebounds in 28.8 minutes per game.
“Marina has been instrumental in setting the standard for our franchise from day one,” Tempo general manager Monica Wright Rogers said in a statement. “Her competitiveness, leadership and impact on our organization and fanbase makes this recognition incredibly well-deserved.”
The 29-year-old had her marquee performance on June 25 when she tied the WNBA single-game record with 53 points in a 125-97 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks.
“Marina’s work ethic and commitment to winning show up every single day,” Tempo head coach Sandy Brondello said in a statement. “She’s embraced every challenge, elevated her game and made everyone around her better. We’re thrilled to see her recognized as a WNBA All-Star.”
This is the first All-Star selection in the career of the Belmar, N.J. native, who has also appeared for the Sparks, Dallas Wings, Chicago Sky and Connecticut Sun over the course of her 249-game WNBA career.
The 2026 WNBA All-Star game takes place at United Center in Chicago on July 25.
