Toronto Tempo guard Kiki Rice was named to the AP All-Rookie team on Sunday.
Selected sixth overall by the Tempo in the 2026 WNBA Draft, Rice averaged 13.4 points, 3.7 rebounds alongside 3.5 assists a 47.2 field goal percentage over 28 games, including 20 starts, in her first WNBA season.
Rice, who won a NCAA championship with UCLA last season, also shot 35.1 per cent from three and 86.9 per cent from the free throw line while averaging 27.1 minutes of playing time.
The 22-year-old missed 16 games due to a significant ankle injury as the Tempo finished their inaugural season with an 11-33 record.
Minnesota Lynx guard Olivia Miles was named AP Rookie of the Year as she joined Rice and Dallas Wings guard Azzi Fudd, Chicago Sky guard Sydney Taylor, Seattle Storm guard Flau’jae Johnson and New York Liberty guard Pauline Astier on the AP All-Rookie team.
