Toronto Tempo rookie guard Kiki Rice exited Wednesday’s game against the New York Liberty late in the fourth quarter after appearing to suffer an injury.
Rice landed awkwardly on her left leg after driving the ball against Jonquel Jones and remained down on the court after the play.
The 22-year-old was eventually helped up by teammates and a member of the training staff, before hobbling off the court and straight into the locker room.
There was no update on Rice’s condition after the game.
Rice scored nine points with six rebounds and an assist in 23:21 before she was forced to leave the game.
The sixth overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft entered play on Wednesday averaging 13.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists this season.
