Toronto Tempo guard Brittney Sykes exited Tuesday’s game against the Indiana Fever after suffering a foot injury.

Sykes was cutting to the basket away from the ball, when she fell to the court in considerable pain with a non-contact injury.

The 32-year-old remained on the court, surrounded by teammates as she was attended to by the team’s training staff.

Eventually Sykes was helped from the court and into the locker room.

She played 19:20 and contributed 11 points, three assists and two rebounds before she was forced from the game.

Heading into Tuesday’s contest, Sykes was averaging 20.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists for the Tempo.

Tempo guard Julie Allemand (headache) also exited early against the Fever and was ruled out by the team.
