The WNBA playoffs tip off on Sunday and TSN has you covered with three crucial Game 1s to kick off the best-of-three first round.
The action on TSN begins with the top-seeded Minnesota Lynx hosting the New York Liberty, followed by Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever going up against the defending champion Las Vegas Aces. Finally, it’s Paige Bueckers making her WNBA postseason debut as the Dallas Wings take on the Golden State Valkyries.
Angel Reese and the Dream also host the Washington Mystics in Atlanta Sunday evening.

Liberty vs. Lynx

Star rookie Olivia Miles and the Lynx head into the 2026 playoffs as the title favourites having finished with the best record in the league at 33-11. Miles, guard Kayla McBride and Napheesa Collier lead an elite trio for the Lynx, who are looking for their first championship in nearly 10 seasons.
Collier had surgery on both ankles and was limited to 16 games this season, but she’s just one year removed from averaging 22.9 points and becoming only the second player in WNBA history to join the 50-40-90 club. She finished second to A’ja Wilson in MVP voting last year.
This season, Collier has averaged 16.8 points per game and has been her usual efficient self, shooting 50 per cent from the field and 44.4 from deep.
Fever vs. Aces
When: 4pm et/2pm pt

Up next it’s possibly the juiciest matchup of the opening round as Clark leads the Fever into Las Vegas against the defending champs.
Clark has had her best season in 2026, jumping head first into superstardom by averaging 22.3 points and 8.3 assists. She and teammate Kelsey Mitchell – who led the Fever in scoring at 24.7 points a night – aim to give the Aces all they can handle as they gun for a repeat and try to win their fourth championship in five seasons.
Wilson was among the league’s best once again this season, averaging 26.2 points and 9.4 rebounds in 41 games this season.
Wings vs. Valkyries
When: 9pm et/6pm pt

The Wings won just 10 games in 2025 but it was a different story this season as they finished fourth in the Western Conference with a record of 27-17.
Sunday marks what figures to be the first of many playoff games for Bueckers in her career. She followed up a Rookie of the Year campaign last year by becoming one of the WNBA’s best this season, as she averaged 20.9 points on a hyper-efficient 51.2 per cent from the field and 41 per cent from the land beyond.
A balanced attack featuring double-double machine Jessica Shepard and steady veteran Arike Ogunbowale lead the Wings’ attack against the Valkyries.
Despite being in just their second year, Golden State narrowly missed out on the league’s best record (32-12) and feature a formidable frontcourt in Gabby Williams and Janelle Salaun that is sure to test the Wings as they gun for the upset.
