ATLANTA -- The results of the 2027 WNBA draft lottery will be broadcast Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN, the league announced Wednesday.
The Houston Comets, Toronto Tempo, Washington Mystics, Seattle Storm, Portland Fire and Los Angeles Sparks will participate in the lottery.
Houston and Toronto have the best odds at the No. 1 pick, each with 329 chances out of 1,000 (32.9%). The Comets, formerly known as the Connecticut Sun, are relocating to Houston this offseason.
Washington has the next-best odds (16.1%) by virtue of acquiring Chicago's first-round pick in the trade that sent Ariel Atkins to the Sky. Seattle (9.3%) and Portland (5.2%) have the fourth- and fifth-best chances, followed by Los Angeles, which has two lottery picks: its own (2.4%) and Phoenix's (1.2%) after acquiring that selection when trading Kelsey Plum in August.
Lottery odds are based on teams' two-year cumulative records, except for Portland and Toronto, which were expansion teams in 2026 and had odds configured based solely on their records from this past season.
Houston cannot fall further than the third pick because it has the first tiebreaker over Toronto -- head-to-head record in the current season -- after the Sun went 1-2 against the Tempo. Toronto is guaranteed at least the No. 4 pick.
USC's JuJu Watkins, Texas' Madison Booker and Notre Dame's Hannah Hidalgo are among the high-profile players who will be eligible for the draft.
The draft is scheduled for April 12, 2027.
