The 2026 World Juniors have come and gone, and when the dust all settled it was Sweden on top, Czechia with silver, and Canada taking home bronze.
You may want to remember that, because you NEVER KNOW when you may randomly face a pop quiz!
Ahead of the tournament, we sat down with a handful of Canada’s players to quiz them on the very countries they would be playing against at this year’s tournament. That includes Gavin McKenna, Tij Iginla, Porter Martone, and lots of the other biggest stars.
To start things off, we kept the questioning within their rhelm; hockey questions. Then, to take the difficulty up a notch, we had them answer multiple-choice country questions that have nothing to do with hockey at all.
Sometimes they simply knew the answer, other times they were able to deduce their way there. Most of the time, there was some straight guessing involved... and there was a lot of incorrect answers as well.
How would you have done in the hot seat? It’s not so easy once the bright lights are in your face!
