Team Canada is racking up the highlights in the World Junior Championship round robin ahead of the knockout rounds, where truly iconic moments are born. Before they get there, though, we have to make sure they know their World Juniors history!
After all, if you don’t know history it’s bound to repeat itself... okay, maybe that cliche doesn’t apply here.
Golden goals, OT goal line saves, a big hit (or two!)... we found some of the most iconic World Juniors moments and made a silhouette out of the player. Could this year’s squad guess which player we took out of the highlight?
As we told the guys after each of their games was done, maybe it will be them that we’re making silhouettes out of in the future. All they need to do? Deliver the gold in iconic fashion.
Simple, right?
Now that we think of it, this Gavin McKenna hat-trick goal may work pretty well.
