The Winnipeg Blue Bombers released their depth chart for Saturday’s visit to the Ottawa Redblacks, revealing that quarterback Zach Collaros (neck) will not dress.

Chris Streveler, who led the offence during practice this week, gets the start under centre.

The 37-year-old Collaros sustained his injury during the team’s 21-13 loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Sept. 6 and did not play in last Friday’s loss to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Earlier in the week, head coach Mike O’Shea was hopeful that Collaros could still play this weekend despite not participating in practice.

“Zach doesn’t necessarily need any reps, and if there were certain things he needed to see, he would do it pre-practice or post-practice,” O’Shea told The Winnipeg Sun’s Paul Friesen on Wednesday. “We’ll just see how he is.”

A native of Steubenville, OH, Collaros is in his 13th CFL season and sixth with the Bombers. In 10 games this season, Collaros has thrown for 2,297 yards on 197-for-267 passing with 14 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

In the 32-21 loss to the Ticats, Streveler threw for 241 yards on 18-for-29 passing with a TD and two picks.

The Bombers (6-7) head into the game with the Redblacks (4-9) as losers of three in a row.
