The road to the 113th Grey Cup continues this Labour Day Weekend with a slate of compelling matchups.
Here’s a closer look at Week 14 in the CFL and where you can watch the action on TSN, TSN.ca and the TSN App.
BC Lions (6-5) vs. Montreal Alouettes (9-2)
Friday at 7pm ET/4pm PT on TSN4/5, TSN.ca and TSN App
The CFL-leading Alouettes will look to get back in the win column on Friday night against the visiting Lions after falling to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Week 13 for just their second loss of the season.
Star quarterback Davis Alexander, who leads the league with 3,657 passing yards and 24 touchdowns, was limited in practice on Tuesday after suffering a knee injury late in the team’s loss to Winnipeg.
Despite admitting to soreness, Alexander told the media there is “no chance” he would miss Friday’s tilt against the Lions.
Canadian wide receiver Tyson Philpot has been Alexander’s top target all season, leading the CFL with 90 receptions, 1,316 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.
After a slow start, the red-hot Lions have won five straight games.
Canadian Nathan Rourke has been sharp since his return from injury, throwing for 1,381 yards and eight touchdowns over four games.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers (6-5) at Saskatchewan Roughriders (7-4)

The Roughriders welcome the rival Blue Bombers to Regina on Sunday for the annual Labour Day weekend game on Sunday.
The defending Grey Cup champion Riders picked up a 28-24 win over the Toronto Argonauts last weekend to snap a two-game losing streak and are currently sitting second in the West Division behind the Edmonton Elks.
Winnipeg topped league-leading Montreal, 44-28, in Week 13.
The matchup pits the two oldest starting quarterbacks in the CFL against each other with 38-year-old Zach Collaros of the Blue Bombers taking on 40-year-old Trevor Harris of the Roughriders.
Harris sits third in the CFL in passing yards (3,531) and touchdowns (23).
Winnipeg will host Saskatchewan on Sept. 12 in the Banjo Bowl.
Toronto Argonauts (5-6) vs. Hamilton Tiger-Cats (4-8)
Monday at 2pm ET/11am PT on TSN1/4, TSN.ca and TSN App
Summer comes to an end with one of the most highly anticipated matchups of the season as the Tiger-Cats host their QEW rivals in the Argonauts in the annual Labour Day Classic.
The Argonauts have won three of the last four Labour Day Classics, including last year’s 35-33 victory. The Ticats hold the all-time advantage with a 37-16-1 record.
Both sides are coming off losses in Week 13. Toronto also defeated Hamilton, 39-20, in a miserable and rainy contest at BMO Field in Week 12 action.
Argos pivot Chad Kelly threw for 416 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions last week in a loss to the Roughriders.
Star quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell remains injured as Hamilton is expected to go with Canadian Tre Ford behind centre.
The 28-year-old has thrown for 1,218 yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions over 12 games this season.
Edmonton Elks (8-3) at Calgary Stampeders (5-6)

The Elks have won back-to-back games to grab first place in the West Division as they march on in their best season in years.
Edmonton’s eight wins are already their most since the 2019, the last time they made the playoffs.
The Elks are coming off a bye, last playing on Aug. 21 when they beat the Blue Bombers, 22-19.
Cody Fajardo is on pace for a career season, throwing 3,368 yards with 18 touchdowns and six interceptions over 11 games.
Currently sitting last in the West Division, the Stamps will look to pick up their second consecutive win to reach the .500 mark on the season.
Quarterback Josh Love got the start in last week’s win over Hamilton as regular starter Vernon Adams Jr. was sidelined with a head injury.
The 28-year-old Love threw for 274 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
Calgary has won three of the last four Labour Day Classics against Edmonton, and hold a slim 32-31-1 advantage all-time.
