Elks extend DB Williams, agree to terms with Canadian WR O’Leary-Orange

The Edmonton Elks have extended pending free agent defensive back Kobe Williams, while also agreeing to terms on a one-year deal with receiver Brendan O’Leary-Orange, according to TSN’s Farhan Lalji.

Williams spent the 2025 season in Edmonton after spending the previous four seasons with the Calgary Stampeders. In 18 games with the Elks, the 27-year-old recorded 54 defensive tackles and six special teams tackles.

With Calgary (2021-2024) Williams put up 136 tackles, three interceptions, and one sack in 48 games.

O’Leary-Orange has spent the past two seasons as a member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, making 38 catches for 671 receiving yards and five touchdowns in 25 games.

The Toronto native spent the first three seasons of his career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers where he grabbed 25 catches for 344 yards and two touchdowns in 33 games.
