TORONTO — B.C. running back Zander Horvath, Winnipeg quarterback Zach Collaros and Saskatchewan receiver KeeSean Johnson were named the CFL’s top players for Week 13 on Tuesday.
Horvath had a career-high four touchdowns to tie the Lions single-game record in B.C.’s 45-24 win over the Ottawa Redblacks. He finished with 164 rushing yards on 24 carries and four receptions for 30 yards.
It was his fifth consecutive game with at least one rushing touchdown.
Horvath has been named to the players of the week three times now, after earning the honour in Weeks 9 and 11.
Collaros completed 26-of-32 pass attempts for 324 yards and two touchdowns as the Blue Bombers beat Montreal 44-28 in the CFL-leading Alouettes second loss of the year.
Johnson caught 10 receptions for 146 yards, including a six-yard touchdown, as the Roughriders downed the Toronto Argonauts 28-24.
