The BC Lions have signed 2025 All-CFL wide receiver Keon Hatcher Sr. to a two-year contract extension, the team announced on Wednesday.

The deal is worth over $645K and includes $630K guaranteed with a $125K signing bonus, according to TSN’s Farhan Lalji.

Hatcher, 31, now becomes the highest-paid non-quarterback in the league. He was set for free agency in February.

Hatcher posted a league-high 1,688 receiving yards with nine touchdowns across 18 games in his first full season after being reunited with star quarterback Nathan Rourke.

“Hatch epitomizes what it is to be a BC Lion,” said Lions general manager Ryan Rigmaiden in a press release announcing the extension. “He’s a dynamic playmaker that’s smart, tough and puts the team before himself.

“As great as he’s become on the field, I’m just as proud of the leadership role he’s taken and the effect he has in our locker room. I’m looking forward to what he and Nathan Rourke do in the future!”

More to come.
