TORONTO — Hamilton quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell, Edmonton running back Justin Rankin and Toronto receiver Kevin Mital have been named the top performers for Week 3 of the CFL season.
Mitchell completed 15 of 18 passes for 285 yards and five touchdowns, including a 56-yard touchdown pass, in Hamilton’s 41-27 win over visiting B.C. on Friday.
Rankin rushed 18 times for 179 yards with two third-quarter touchdowns in a 32-29 win over visiting Montreal on Saturday
He also caught five passes for 51 yards, totalling a career-high 230 yards from scrimmage.
Rankin was named a top performer for the second time this season after taking the top spot in Week 1.
Mital had eight receptions for a career-high 178 yards, including three catches over 30 yards, in the Argonauts’ 44-24 win Saturday in Ottawa.
