The Ottawa Redblacks have placed kicker Brett Lauther on the six-game injured list due to a quad injury.
Lauther has not missed a field goal though eight weeks this season, making 20-of-20 attempts.
The 35-year-old veteran is in his first year with the Redblacks after spending the past seven seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Over nine seasons with the Redblacks, Roughriders, and Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Lauther has made 321-of-390 (82.3 per cent) of his field goal attempts. He was named a CFL West All-STar in 2018.
Ottawa has signed Canadian kicker Lewis Ward to replace Lauther on the roster. The 33-year-old kicked for the Redblacks from 2018-25, drilling 300-347 (86.5) of his attempts.
