The Saskatchewan Roughriders have placed running back A.J. Ouellette on the six-game injured reserve due to a knee injury.
He is listed as out for Saturday’s game against the Edmonton Elks after not practicing all week.
Ouellette has rushed for 288 yards on 63 carries in four games this season, his third with the Riders. Last season, the Covington, Ohio native ran for 1,222 yards and eight touchdowns in 17 games.
The Roughriders’ injury report also listed defensive back Rolan Milligan Jr. as being on the six-game injured list.
Wide receiver Samuel Emilus is a game-time decision for Saturday’s contest. He has 31 catches for 448 yards and five touchdowns through eight weeks.
