Roughriders sign American WR Johnson

The Saskatchewa Roughriders have announced the signing of American wide reciever Jaylen Johnson.

Johnson, 25, signed the the NFL’s Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2024 and appeared in one regular season game with the team. He spent the majority of the season the club’s practice roster.

The Duluth, GA., native played collegiately at East Carolina from 2022-23 where he caught 71 passes for 806 yards and six touchdowns. He also played at his hometown Georgia from 2019-21, catching 45 passes for 466 yards and two scores.
