Tiger-Cats QB Ford ruled out vs. Argonauts

Hamilton Tiger-Cats quarterback Tre Ford has been ruled out for the second half of the team’s Labour Day Classic matchup against the Toronto Argonauts with a head injury.

Ford remained in the locker room to begin the second half, while backup pivot Harrison Frost took over.

Ford’s day ended after completing 4-of-9 passes for 75 yards, while adding 36 yards and a touchdown on three carries along the ground.

On the year, the 28-year-old has completed 65.1 per cent of his passes for 1,293 yards, five touchdowns, and three interceptions.

The Niagara Falls, Ont. native also recorded 383 rushing yards on 35 attempts (10.9 yards per carry).
