Pickford, 20, led all Canadian Hockey League defencemen this season recording 45 goals with the Medicine Hat Tigers this season and his 83 points only trailed teammate Jonas Woo.
His previous career high was 20 goals and 47 points in 48 games, which was set last season in Medicine Hat.
The 6-foot-1, right-shot blueliner also won the WHL’s Defenceman of the Year for his efforts.
Pickford added six goals and 12 points in the playoffs this season before bowing out to the Prince Albert Raiders in six games in the Eastern Conference Final.
The Chauvin, Alta., native was drafted 81st overall by the Canadiens in the 2025 draft after he helped Medicine Hat to an Ed Chynoweth Cup and a Memorial Cup appearance in 2024-25.
He recorded 13 goals and 24 points in 18 playoff games during that run and then added two goals in nine games at the Memorial Cup before his team lost to the London Knights in the final.
The WHL Championship Series begins on Friday with the Raiders taking on the Everett Silvertips, which can be seen LIVE at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT on TSN 3/5, TSN.ca, and the TSN App.
