Ontario’s Team Hailey Armstrong will go head-to-head with Nova Scotia’s Team Taylour Stevens for the final playoff spot at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts on Thursday afternoon.

You can watch the action LIVE from Mississauga’s Paramount Fine Foods Centre at 2pm ET/11am PT on TSN1/4, TSN.ca and the TSN App.

Manitoba’s Team Kaitlyn Lawes (7-0) and Canada’s Team Kerri Einarson (6-1) have both booked their playoff spots in Pool A while Team Armstrong and Team Stevens hold identical 5-2 records.

Playing out of the Whitby Curling Club, Team Armstrong has had a very strong week as the home province rink after upsetting two-time defending champion Team Daniel Inglis in the provincial final earlier this month.

Stevens, 25, alongside current teammates Alison Umlah and Cate Fitzgerald ran the table to win the 2022 Canadian Junior Curling Championships.

Manitoba’s Team Beth Peterson, Nova Scotia’s Team Christina Black and Alberta’s Team Selena Sturmay have all secured playoff spots in Pool B with positioning to be determined during the final round robin draw on Tuesday evening.

Following the round robin, the first-place team in Pool A plays second place in Pool B, and vice versa, in the opening round of the playoffs. The winners advance straight to the Page Playoff 1 vs. 2 game while the losers will have to play the third-place finishers for a spot in the Page Playoff 3 vs. 4 game.

The championship game takes place Sunday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT with the winning rink earning the right to represent Canada at the World Women’s Curling Championship in Calgary from March 14-22.
