To say Niklas Edin and his Swedish squad are having a solid season would be an understatement.
Skip Edin, third Oskar Eriksson, second Rasmus Wrana and lead Christoffer Sundgren won the European Curling Championship in Scotland Saturday by beating Norway's Thomas Ulsrud in the final, 6-5.

On the women's side, Russia's Victoria Moiseeva completed a surprising successful week by topping Sweden's Anna Hasselborg (another very talented rink this season) in the final, 6-4. The 25-year-old stole two in the last end when Hasselborg wrecked on a guard during a draw for the win.

Moiseeva was playing in her first European Championship after upsetting Russia's most popular crew, Team Anna Sidorova, in the country's playdowns.
Scotland's Eve Muirhead took bronze while Peter de Cruz of Switzerland won bronze on the men's side.
