The two Canadians in the field at The Open Championship each made the cut and will look to vault up the leaderboard on moving day at Royal Birkdale.
Corey Conners fired a 3-under 67 in his second round Friday to get him to 2-under for the week and in position to make a charge over the final two rounds. He was six shots behind leader Lucas Herbert to begin play Saturday.
Nick Taylor was 1-over in his second round and began the weekend one shot below par. He teed off early Saturday morning while Conners got his around started at 8:45 a.m. ET.
